Trapped

I'm sitting in a trap.

That trap can also be referred to as Melanie's shelf.

Yup, basically all I have been doing for the past couple of months is sit on the shelf, and collect dust.

No school.
No Julie.
No George.
No comedy.

Life's been a mess.

My world is over.

Julie's gone.

Sure, I have George, and my sisters, but I don't have my best friend, my sister, my twin, my sanity.

I don't have my Julie.

Mixed Emotions

I smiled to myself; spring was actually starting to begin. The sun was shining, it was warmer outside, and there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky.

I breathed in the air and sighed.
“Sometimes life is just perfect.” I chuckled to myself.

”JULIA!” George ran up behind me and hugged me.
I laughed as he spun me around.
“Hey George.”  I beamed, and then I remembered when he kissed me on the cheek.
A small blush painted itself on my face.
He noticed. “Seashell Eyes, you alright?” He asked.
“Uh yeah.” My voice cracked.
“Julia.” He said sternly, looking me straight in the eyes.
“Well, we tell each other everything, right?” I asked.
He nodded.
“That’s pretty much what best friends do.” He added while nodding.
“This has been on my chest for a while now.” I sighed.
“Come on, Julia. It can’t be that bad.” He chuckled.
“I like you – a lot.” I looked him straight in the eye.

He stopped chuckling and just stopped walking altogether.
“What?” He asked, looking at me as if he had never met me before.
“Did I stutter?” I crossed my arms, still looking at him intently.
”You, Julia Albright, like me, George Standford, more than a friend?” He pointed from me to himself.
“I have for a whi-“ I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t finish my sentence because George just flat out kissed me.

It.Was.Amazing.

“JULIA!” Someone shouted, and the amazing-ness of it all was just a memory.
I pulled away and snapped my head to the direction of the voice.
“WHAT JULIE?” I yelled.

Sisters, can’t live with them, can’t kiss the guy you’ve liked for about a million years now with them either.

She ran to me with the biggest smile on her face.
“Okay, two things. One, HI GEORGE!” She waved to George.
George waved back at her and smiled. “Hello Julie.”
“And two..” She started. Then she screamed and hugged me.
“I KNEW IT! STANDBRIGHT EXISTS!” She screamed into my jacket.

I stood there awkwardly, wishing the ground would just swallow me up.
George, on the other hand, looked like he was enjoying this whole ordeal very much.

I mouthed the word ‘Help’ to him.
He mouthed the words ‘I need somebody’ back.

“THIS IS NO TIME FOR BEATLES SONGS.” I whisper-yelled.
“This is the PERFECT time for Beatles songs.” George chuckled.

I rolled my eyes with a smile on my face and turned to my screaming-and-jumping sister.
“Julie.” I said.
“WHAT? OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH YEAHH!” She squealed.
“Calm. Down.” I said, very calmly.
“HOW CAN I CALM DOWN? MY SISTER JUST KISSED THE GUY OF HER DREAMS! WOO HOO!” Julie spun around and started dancing.

She was acting like the inner-Julia.

“Okay, Julie. I think I hear Elizabeth calling you.” I lied.
“Well, I d-“ Julie started, I grabbed her arm and pulled her close so my mouth was by her ear and I whispered.
“Go now and I will tell you all of the details later.” I whispered.
She pulled back and nodded, then ran off to find Elizabeth and Rebecca.

I turned back to George.
“Sorry about that.” I apologized.
“Don’t worry, she’s quite amusing.” He smiled.

After a few awkward seconds of silence, I spoke up again.
“So, I take it from that kiss that you like me too?” I asked, rubbing my arm nervously.
“Yes, Julia. I do.” He smiled.
“So are we boyfriend and girlfriend now?” I asked.
“Only if you want to be.” He smiled back.
“Just call me George Standford’s girlfriend.” I winked and then he walked me home.

After squealing like a little girl and telling every single one of my sisters about George, I went up to my room to get started on my History homework.

Just as I understood the homework, my phone rang.

“Hello?” I picked it up.
”Julia? Julia Suzanne Albright?” A woman asked.
“Who is this?” I asked, checking the caller ID. It wasn’t a number I recognized.
“Your mother.” She said.
“Okay, what kind of sick joke is this. Who paid you to call me?” I asked, annoyed.
“No one. Julia, this is me, your actual mother.” The woman said, reassuringly.
“Psh.” I didn’t buy it. “Prove it then.”
“My name is Sarah Albright, Your father’s name is John Albright. You have a twin sister named Julianne Shay Albright. You both have a birthmark on your shoulder.” She stated.
I lowered the phone from my ear and covered up the part where you talk into it and screamed.

MY MOM? DUDE? WHAT THE HECK?!?!??!??!?!?!???!?!?!?!??!?!

“M-Mom?” My voice was shaking.
“Hello, Julia.” She said.
“Why did you call?” I asked, I grabbed onto my desk for support.
“Well, I wanted to know if you would like to come back home and live with us. Your father, Julie, and me.” She stated.
“Julie?” I asked.
“Yes, she already agreed to it.” Mom said.
“She didn’t tell me.” I whispered.
“Please come home, your father and I need both of our little girls together again.” Mom pleaded.
“If you needed us, you wouldn’t have put us up for adoption. I’m with a great family now, and so is Julie. Better than you and Dad ever were. You didn’t even know about Julie’s asthma. I’m not going and I’m sure Julie will change her mind.”

And with that, I hung up.

I sat down and rubbed my forehead.

Mom’s back into my life.

…….Great.

Homecoming

“WELCOME HOME JULIE!” I yelled, running towards my sister, who had just made her homecoming.

She hugged me. “Thanks, Julia.” She smiled.

“How much homework did you get?” I asked.
“TONS!” She exclaimed.
“Well, I should leave you to your wo-“ I said, turning to leave her house. She grabbed my arm and spun me around.

“I want to help you find George.” She stated.
“We’ve been looking for weeks.” I said back.
“I know that, but I could help out!” Julie’s smile was bigger than her brown eyes.
“There’s not much to help out with.” I muttered, looking down.
“Julia, you and I both know that the only people looking for him are you and Ms. Standford.” Julie made her point.
I opened my mouth to object, but she put her hand over my mouth.
“Molly’s fans couldn’t even find him. Because they didn’t look for him hard enough. You know I will, Julia. Please give me a chance.” She pleaded.

I considered it for a while, then slowly shook my head.
“YAY!” She squealed, taking her hand off my mouth.
“Now, just come along before I change my mind.” I rolled my eyes, motioning for her to come outside with me.

-         TWO HOURS LATER –

“Looking for Georgie. That’s what we’re here to do. Looking for Georgie. Just me and you.” Julie sang for the millionth time while we walked in an abandoned field.

I tripped over a rock and fell down. Julie helped me up and right before she was going to bust into another verse of the ‘Looking For Georgie Song,’ I cut her off.

”He has to be here somewhere. This is where he told me he was waiting.” I said to no one in particular while looking around.

”Is he in that little abandoned house over there?” Julie asked, pointing to an old house over to the side of the field.

”Maybe?” I asked, beginning to make my way towards the house.

”Julia!” Julie squealed, staying in the same spot.
I spun around and began walking backwards.
“Come on!” I exclaimed.
“What if there’s strangers there?!” She asked.
“You’ll be the only strange person there.” I rolled my eyes, and turned back around to face the house.

“COME ON JULIE!” I yelled back at her.
“NO I WILL STAY OUTSIDE FOR YOU!” Julie said.
“NO, I CAN’T HAVE YOU GETTING TAKEN TOO!” I yelled.
“I HAVE MY PHONE ON ME! JUST GO! TIME’S A-WASTING!” Julie yelled in reply.
“George had his phone too.” I muttered, making my way inside the house.

I looked around, it was a wreck, there was still furniture, but it was either on it’s side, or broken.
“George?” I asked, putting a chair right side up.
“Help.” Someone whispered.
”GEORGE?” I asked again, this time more excited.
“Help.” The voice repeated itself.

I looked around for the owner of the voice. It sounded like George.
“GEORGE?!” I yelled.
“Help.” Once again.

I traveled to where the voice was coming from, behind a couch.
I looked behind the couch and all I saw was……

“GEORGE!” I squealed, jumping to hug him.
“Julia?” He asked, he had a black eye and was shivering.
I hugged him to give him warmth, well that and I missed him so much.
“Shh. I will call your mom an-“ I smiled, taking out my phone.

“Drop it.” An older voice said.
My eyes grew to the size of baseballs and I put my phone away and looked up to see a man who looked to be about 30-ish and he had blonde hair and grey eyes.

”Who are you?” I asked.
“I’d tell you, but I’d much rather just do this.” He said, coming over to me and slapping me across the face.
“YOU’VE CROSSED THE LINE NOW!” George yelled, jumping on top of his attacker.
George began punching and kicking his attacker like crazy.

All I could do is just sit there on the floor, and watch. With my eyes ten sizes larger than normal.

When I took in all of this new information I called Julie.

“Julia? Where are you?” Julie asked.
“Call the cops.” I whispered.
“IS HE THERE?” Julie asked.
“Yes, and so is his attacker, now CALL THE COPS!” I exclaimed, but it was still a whisper.

”I’ll take that.” The creep took my phone and threw it across the room. I looked at George, who was on the ground, holding his other eye.

”Now, I hit your little friend, and I’m not above hitting a girl.” The creep sneered at me, and swung at my face. I ducked down and kicked his leg. He fell to the ground and I took advantage of the chair. I threw it at him, shouting multiple obscenities at him while I did so.

I looked down, the creep was out cold. I ran to George, who was still on the floor.
Harrison?” I asked.
”Seashell eyes?” He asked.
I hugged him tight.
”I’m so sorry he did this to you.” He apologized.
“No, I’m so sorry he did this to YOU!” I exclaimed.

I felt two strong arms wrapping around my waist and I was picked up.
“So George.” The creep started. “How shall your little girlfriend here die?” He asked George.
“Shall I BEAT HER TO DEATH?” The creep yelled.

My stomach dropped.
WHERE WERE THE COPS?!
“POLICE! OPEN UP!” A man yelled.

Found them.

“GEORGE OPEN I-“ I began, but the creep slapped a hand over my mouth.
“George, if you open that door, I will kill her.” The creep warned.

“POLICE! WE HAVE THE HOUSE SURROUNDED! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!” The police man yelled once again.

“I HAVE A HOSTAGE. TWO ACTUALLY!” The creep yelled.

Why would you tell the cops that?

”LET THEM GO!” The police man yelled back.

I looked for George, I couldn’t find him.

“George? GEORGE STANDFORD, WHERE ARE YOU?” The creep yelled.
I searched for George. He was no where in sight.

Did he leave me with this guy? No, George wouldn’t do that.

At least, I don’t think he would.

“TAKE THIS YOU JERK” George yelled and hit the man in the back of the head with another chair.

He knocked the guy out and I fell down along with him.

I wiggled out of his grasp and ran to the door.
“HE’S OUT COLD!” I yelled. The police ran inside the house and took the creep and began asking George and I questions.

“What did he do to you two?” One asked.
“He just hit me.” I sighed.
“He threatened to….” George trailed off.
“What?” The police officer asked.
“Kill me.” George whispered.

My jaw dropped, did I just save George’s life.

“Excuse me! Out of the way! MOVE!” Julie yelled, making her way through the crowd of police. She made her way to George and I.

“GEORGE YOU’RE OKAY!” She smiled, and hugged George, who smiled.
“Thankfully.” George hugged back.
“AND JULIA! YOU SAVED HIM!” Julie squealed and hugged me.
“Ha, I guess I did.” I smiled, and hugged her back.

”Don’t worry, George. He won’t see the light of day for a long time. So he won’t even come close to you.” Another police officer re-assured George.
“Thank Heavens.” George breathed a sigh of relief.

-30 MINUTES LATER-

We were sitting in the police station, waiting for Ms. Standford to get there.
“She started yelling and screaming on the phone.” Julie said.
George and I nodded.

The door flew open and Ms. Standford came rushing in and picked up her son and hugged him and kissed everywhere on his face.

“GEORGE! MY GEORGIE! YOU’RE OKAY!” She repeated, squeezing him as tight as she could.
“I love you mom.” George smiled, looking up at his mother.
“I love you too, Georgie.” She smiled and kissed his forehead and hugged him once more. He hugged her back.

After the hugging, she turned to Julie and I and hugged us both at the same time.
“Thank you girls. You’ve given me my sanity and more importantly my son back. I could never thank you enough.” Her voice was genuine. I smiled and hugged her back, and Julie did the same.

“Mom, can I have a moment alone with Julia?” George asked.
“Oh of course honey, I was just going to ask Julie what happened when she found out you were okay.” Ms. Standford smiled and went off to the side to start her conversation with Julie.

“Julia. Seashell eyes. I could never thank you enough.” He smiled and pulled me in for a hug.
I hugged back.
”I knew you wouldn’t leave me without saying goodbye first.” I smiled into his shoulder.
“You’re the best friend I could ever ask for.” He smiled at me, and gave me a quick peck on the cheek.
“Same for you.” I turned as red as a tomato.

HE JUST KISSED ME! AND HE’S OKAY! LIFE IS COMPLETE!

I hugged him again and he walked me home.

And this time, he made it home.

Barber Shop Blues

I sat down by Julie.
“Julie.” I started.
“What?” She asked.
“George…. Is…..” I trailed off.
“Missing.” She finished.
“How did you know?” I asked.
“Television.” She made a gesture towards her TV.
“Oh.” I sighed, looking down.
“Julia.” She started. I looked up.
“Find him.” She whispered her first sentence with two words.
“I’m honestly try-“ I was cut off by my phone buzzing.
“One second.” I held up my finger, then took my phone out and answered it.

”Hello?” I asked.
“JULIA COME QUICK!” A frantic Ms. Standford nearly screamed.
“Where are you?” I asked, my pulse quickening.
“AT THE POLICE STATION!” She exclaimed, then hung up the phone.
“I have to go.” I stated to Julie.
“Find him.” She repeated.

I nodded and then made my way to the police station.

As I busted my way through the doors, Ms. Standford grabbed my hand and pulled me to her car.
“What happened?” I asked.
“THEY DROPPED THE CASE! NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE!” She yelled, then began sobbing on my shoulder.
“Ms. Standford, there, there. We’ll find him. I feel it in my veins.” I whispered, trying to calm her.
“But…Where….Could….He…..Be?” She asked in between sobs.
“I don’t know, we could try calling him again.” Ms. Standford looked at me.
“CALL HIM!” She exclaimed and then sniffled.

I pulled my phone out and dialed his number. It rang again, and again, and again.
“He has it on.” I whispered.
“LISTEN!” She whispered back.
It rang, and rang, and rang until…..
“Julia?” George asked.
I screamed.
“GEORGE!” I yelled.
Ms. Standford screamed as well.
“Where are you? Are you alright? Why do you sound out of breath?” I asked all at the same time.
“I’M RUNNING FROM MY KIDNAPPER!” He yelled.
“Where are you?” I asked again.
“By Mr. Merlow’s Barber Shop.” He panted.
“GO TO MERLOW’S BARBER SHOP!” I yelled,

Ms. Standford jumped in the car and I got in the passenger seat.

“GEORGE!” I yelled.
“GEORGE?” I asked again.

He hung up the phone.

”DRIVE FASTER!” I squealed.
”I’M DRIVING AS FAST AS I CAN!” Ms. Standford yelled back.
“THERE THERE THERE!” I yelled, pointing to the corner of the barber shop.

We pulled over.

He wasn’t there.

He's Not There

Molly smiled at me. We’ve been hanging out a lot lately, well since Julie’s accident.
“So, what’s been going on between you and one George Standford?” Molly winked.
“Since he told me all we’ll ever be is friends? Nothing much, really. I haven’t even seen him in a few days. He’s been out of school.” I sighed.

Molly stopped dead in her tracks. “Julia.” She started.
“What?” I asked.
“I think you need to come with me.” She had a sad look in her eyes, and began to pull me to the center of town.
“Where are we going?” I asked, looking around.
“Look.” She pointed to a billboard.

My.Jaw.Dropped.

“No. No, no, no, no, no.” I kept repeating the word ‘No’ as I looked up at George’s face under a big, bold word that I never thought would be written above his, out of anyone’s face I knew.

Missing.

“Oh, Julia.” Molly pulled me into a hug. I sobbed in her shoulder, outside, in public, where anyone could have seen me.

That’s how much George means to me.

“Where’s the police station?” I asked.
“Just around the corner. Why?” Molly asked, but then paused. By the look on her face, she understood what I had to do.

“Let’s go.” We nodded to each other and bolted to the Police Station.

As soon as we entered the station, I began fearing for my life.
Thugs, thugs, and more thugs.

Molly looked pale. I began to shake, but still, George needed me.
I defiantly walked up to the first Police Officer I saw.
“Excuse me, Sir.” I tried to get his attention.
“Yes, Miss?” He asked.
“Do you have any information on the disappearance of George Standford?” I asked.
”Yes.” He nodded.
“Where could I get that?” I asked.
“Oh, sweetie. Don’t worry. The police have all of that under control. You just go home and play with your dollies.” He smiled.

“Excuse me?” I asked, my temper getting the better of me.
“We have it under control. In fact, we have a whole search team looking for his body.” He explained.

OH.MY.FKJGFGJKJHBGHYUJKMJNHBJK

“WHAT?” I yelled, drawing attention to myself.
A woman with curly black hair, who had puffy brown eyes, came up to me.
“Julia?” She asked.
I immediately realized who it was.
“Oh Ms. Standford, I’m so sorry!” I explained, hugging her. George’s mom must have been in hysterics, and by the look of her, she obviously was.
“My baby. He’s gone.” She sobbed in my shoulder, stroking my hair.
“My Harrison, he’s gone.” I whispered to myself, hoping no one could hear.
“We’ll find him, don’t worry Ms. Standford.” The officer smiled.
“I will worry, thank you very much. George is my son. We need to find him.” She sniffled and looked at him.
“Alive.” I added. Molly nodded.
“We have all of this under control.” The police officer wouldn’t stop.
“If you have everything ‘under control’, then why haven’t you given me one of your ‘hourly updates’ in five hours?” George’s mom raised her eyes.
“Uh…” That sure shut the Police off.
“Come on, Girls. I’ll take you home.” She turned to Molly and I.

In the car, we got all of the details out of Ms. Standford.
“He was walking home a couple of days ago from the park. A person in a van approached him, and he’s gone.” She sobbed.
”Wait, so that means he still has his phone, right?” Molly asked.
“Oh my. MOLLY, YOU’RE A GENIUS!” I exclaimed.
“I never thought of that!” Ms. Standford exclaimed.
“Call him!” Molly urged me.
“Okay.” I said and pulled out my phone and punched in his number.

It rang, and rang, and rang.
“Hello.” George picked up.
“GEO-“ I yelled, but was interrupted by.
“It’s me, George. I can’t come to the phone right now. But leave a message and I’ll get back as soon as I can, bye.” His voicemail stated.

I slowly shut my phone and began to cry.
“He didn’t pick up, did he?” Ms. Standford asked, staring blankly ahead at the road.
I shook my head, no words came out of my mouth.
“This isn’t fair!” Molly exclaimed, then her eyes grew.
“What are you thinking, Molly?” I raised an eyebrow. Molly’s plans have always been known as………….. risky.

“How many people know about George’s disappearance?” Molly asked Ms. Standford.
“Not enough, especially if his best friend doesn’t know.” She stated.
“Perfect.” Molly rubbed her hands together.

Ms. Standford and I shared a confused expression. It got weirder when Molly pulled out her Flip video Camcorder and began recording.

“Hey everyone. I have some really bad news.” She began.
“George Standford has gone missing. I know what most of you are thinking, ‘why should I care?’ Well, imagine if he was your brother, or cousin, or son, or even your boyfriend or best friend, because, he’s that person to a lot of people. If we join together, we can find him, and all of the other people that have gone missing. So please, pray for George. Thank you.” She pushed the ‘save’ button and sent it to all of her websites.

“Thank you, Molly.” Ms. Standford smiled at her.
“No, Thank you Ms. Standford. For giving the world George.” Molly said the words for me.
“Let’s get you girls home.” Ms. Standford smiled, and drove us home.

George, we’re going to find you.
And I am going to beat the person who took you to a bloody pulp.

Just Friends With Flashbacks

Julie looked up at me. I looked down at her.

She shouldn't be in that hospital bed, she should be up and running around, and harassing me about my crush on George.

Not.In.A.Hospital.Bed.

If I had remembered the asthma she had and how bad it was, I would have never agreed to that stupid race we had right before she passed out. It's all my fault.

As if she read my mind, she shook her head.
"Stop reading my mind." I replied with a soft smile.

She's conscious, and she can barely talk. I don't know how that is the case, but as long as she's conscious I'm happy.

"You'll get through this. We Albright's are tough cookies." I grabbed her hand and squeezed it.
She smiled softly.

At that moment, a ton of flashbacks were thrown back into my mind.

-F L A S H B A C K-
"JULIE, I'M GOING TO CATCH YOU!!" I yelled in a squeaky little voice. I was about six years old and so was Julie. We were racing in the park, as we always did back then, but then, out of nowhere, she collapsed.

"JULIE!" I yelled and bolted to her side. "G-G-Get Mommy." She was having trouble breathing. I remember running home (Thankfully, our house was really close to the park) and getting my mom. I remember the tears rolling down my face in the car ride there. I remember how shocked I was when we found out she had asthma. I remember how I promised myself that I wouldn't let Julie get hurt.

-END OF F L A S H B A C K-

"Well I failed at that. I failed you, Julie." I whispered, unwanted tears welling in my eyes.
She slowly grabbed my hand and squeezed it. She shook her head as she did so.
"No." She whispered.
All I could do was smile, half-heartily of course. I didn't want my sister's last words to be part of a pointless fight.
"Day." She whispered again.
"What?" I asked.
"Day." She repeated, a little louder this time.
"How my day was?" I asked, hoping that I understood.
She nodded.
"Oh, my day was okay. Didn't get a lot of homework. Ryan said that he's going to visit on Friday and he's going to be here everyday next week because it's break." I filled her in on everything.
"Sisters." Julie whispered.
"Mine or yours?" I asked with a smile.
"Both." She mirrored my smile, only her's was a bit weaker.
"Liz and Rebecca miss you like mad. Well, you obviously know that, they're here everyday. My sister's are fine. Becca's still conceited, Callie and Cindie are still best friends, Molly's still a rock star, Pru's getting better, Felicity's still climbing trees. Same old, same old." I smiled.
"Good." She whispered.
"They wanted me to give you these." I pulled out a bouquet of perky, white daisies.
"Daises." She giggled. But it didn't sound like a giggle.
"You're favorite." I added, putting them in a vase next to her hospital bed.
"George." She had a mischievous grin on her face.
"No." I folded my arms.
"Standbright." The danged grin grew.
"Nopes." I shook my head.
"Georgie." She giggled.
"FINE! I will tell you." I smiled, secretly, I had been dying for her to ask about George.
"Standbright." She smiled. If she weren't in the hospital, I'd give her a witty remark.
"We went out for ice cream today." I smiled.
"Dating?" She asked.
"No, we're not dating, it was just a friendly thing. Well, anyways, we went to Icie and he got......." I stopped mid-sentence because, as soon as I looked down, I saw Julie sleeping soundly.

I'll tell you all about it though.

"Hi, welcome to Icie, how can I help you?" The cashier asked with a smile.
"I'll have the...." George trailed off. He looked at all the flavors and decided on one.
"Mint Chocolate Chip." He stated.
"Okay, coming right up. And you?" She asked me.
"I'll have a Cookies and Cream, please." I smiled, politely.
"So polite and posh." He whispered to me as the cashier was scooping our ice cream.
"Shush." I laughed.
"'Hello, I'm Queen Julia Albright the Seventh.'" He acted like he had a Posh British accent and did the queen wave.
I erupted in giggles.
"Here you go." She smiled as she gave us our cups of ice cream.

Fifteen minutes later, George and I were sitting on two of the swings in a nearby park and we were high on a Sugar Rush.
"And I was like, OH NO YOU DIDN'T!" He said like a Valley Girl.
"OHMYGAWDDDDDD! THE NERVE OF HERR" I yelled, like Becca.
"I KNOW RIGHT." He yelled back.
I got off my swing and ran to the slide.

It's warming up now, but still no one was at the park.

I ran up to the top of the stairs on the slide and yelled.
"WE STOLE A BALLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" At the top of my lungs too.

George ran up behind me and pushed me down the slide.
"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" I screamed like a little kid. I fell off the slide and landed on the pebbles.

"OWIE!" I yelled.
"JUWEA!" George yelled, running to my aid.
"What?" I asked, half of me was still in a Sugar Rush, and the other was normal.

Well, as normal as I am.

"You okay? I'm really sorry." He apparently went through the same thing I did.
"Yeah, it's fine. What did we do?" I asked, rubbing my head.
"Ran around town yelling the words to random kid songs." He smiled.
We erupted into a round of loud, obnoxious laughter.
"Ah, you're my best friend." He smiled.

I don't know why, but his words were engraved in my heart.

"You're my best friend too." I smiled half-heartily.
His phone rang, he picked it up.
"It's my mom, she's probably wondering where I am. I'll see you later, Seashell Eyes." He winked at me, then got up and left.

"And the Academy Award for Best 'I-Like-you-more-than-a-friend-but-i-won't-let-you-see' goes to Julia Albright." I muttered then began walking to the hospital.

Ughhhhhhhhhh.
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

To Miss A Single Thing

PRUDENCE IS ALIVE! Well, all of you who read Chrissa's blog already know that,
but for those of you who don't...

My sister, Prudence, was in a coma after getting hit by a car. She just woke from
the coma and is chattier than ever.
....Then again, my name now to her is 'Juweea.'

When she came back from the coma, I had to go to Chicago with Julie,
Rebecca, Becca, Elizabeth, Callie, and Molly for Chorus Sectionals.
Which is where I am now. It's so NICE here in Chicago.
"JULIE!" I yell.
"Yeah, Julia?" Julie comes in the room, we share a room here.
"Remind me to move here." I smile.
"With George and you're little Standbright children?" Julie jokes.

Excuse me while I go kill my sister. >.<
"WHATCHA TY-Meanie." Julie narrows her eyes at me.
"Look who's talking." I joke.
"I wasn't mean, it's called 'Predicting the future.'" Julie puts her hands up in
surrender as she goes back to the bathroom to get ready for the Celebration
for us winning Sectionals.
Oh yeah, I had to fill in for my sisters, Prudence, Charity, and Chrissa at
Sectionals.
Our set list was;
Carrie Underwood's 'Cowboy Casanova,' sung by Rebecca, (who was
AMAZING at it!)
John Lennon's 'Imagine,' sung by Callie, (not a dry eye in the place)
'You're The One That I Want' from Grease, sung by Lizzie and Jake, (ADORABLE!
Their voices go really well together)
and lastly, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' 'Empire State Of Mind' which everyone sang.
Have any of you ever seen the show 'Glee?'
Well, if you have, our whole performance of that song was inspired from when
THEY did it. Except Nationals aren't in New York City, but Regionals are.
Which we are going to!
"JULIA! TIME TO GO!" Julie calls out.
I will come back and tell you about the celebration when I get back!

-x-~IN THE TAXI~-x-
I hopped in the taxi which already had Mrs. Hodge, Molly, Callie, Elizabeth,
Rebecca, Becca, Jake, Nathan, Matt, Ryan, and Keith.

Don't worry.
It was a big limo.

"Hey everyone!" I greeted.
"Hey Julia." Everyone replied.

We started having a conversation about how nervous we were before
performing for sectionals. Then we started talking about how nice Rebecca and
I were to fill in for Chrissa, Charity, and Prudence.

"We're here!" Mrs. Hodge beamed from the front of the taxi. We all got out of the
car, Mrs. Hodge paid and we all looked around.
"Where the heck are we?" Julie asked.
"In front of a big building that has a lot of big space in front of it." Mrs. Hodge
smiled.
"Yeah, I see that. But WHY are we here?" Julie asked.

Everyone shared confused expressions with each other.

"You are going to perform a song for all of these people! You're going to New
York in 4 weeks, in front of a BIG audience. Consider this your assignment for this
week." Mrs. Hodge smiled.
Everyone who was in the chorus groaned. Apparently assignments take a lot of
work.
"You don't have any instruments, so you need certain people to imitate them for
a few times, and everyone needs to have at least two seconds of solo time."
Mrs. Hodge smiled.
"Where are you going?" Callie asked as Mrs. Hodge began to walk away.

"I'm going to give you 1 hour to get ready for your BIG PERFORMANCE! Don't let me down, kiddos." Mrs. Hodge waved then walked inside a Subway.

"Great. We have to sing, and she's going to get a sub." I muttered.
"Okay, anyone have any song ideas?" Molly asked.
"Why are you asking?" Keith asked.
"Because, I'm the only one who's TRYING to be a leader." Molly narrowed her
eyes.
"Keith, dude. Just give it a rest." Nathan held Keith back.
"And I got nothing." Rebecca sighed.
We all paced around, trying to think.
"WAIT!" Elizabeth called out.

We all stopped in our tracks.
"Remember how Charity picked out the last song from the Winter Dance?" Elizabeth asked.
"She used her iPod!" Jake exclaimed.

"Anybody got their iPod?" Becca asked.
"I do!" Matt smiled, pulling out his iTouch.

"Shuffle!" We all exclaimed.

"And the song is....." Ryan said.
"Drum roll please." Matt said.

We all slapped our knees to imitate drums.

"Train's 'Hey Soul Sister.'" Matt smiled.
"What the heck was that song doing on YOUR iPod?" Nathan teased.
"Oh lay off it." Matt's British vocabulary shows when he gets mad.
"It was only a joke." Nathan defended himself.
"I know." Matt laughed.

"But this is good." Molly smiled.
"Yeah, we can sing it like they did on 'Glee.'" Julie smiled.

Then we practiced and practiced for an hour. My legs hurt and my throat was sore, but it was all in good fun.

"Okay. I take it you guys have a song, right?" Mrs. Hodge came back.
"Yup! It's awesome, if I do say so myself." Molly's grey eyes sparkled.
"Then, I will just introduce you all. So go in your places." Mrs. Hodge smiled.

"Attention, ladies and gentlemen!" Mrs. Hodge called out.
Everyone seemed to slow down or stop walking completely.
"This is American Girls and Guys of the Past and Present Academy's Chorus or Glee Club. They just won their sectionals and are headed to New York City in a few weeks for Regionals. We would like to show you a bit of how they perform."
Mrs. Hodge smiled.

A light applause began and we all turned around to face the road.

All of us imitated the guitar intro with our voices while Molly took the first solo.

"Hey, Hey, Hey. Tonight." She sang melodically.
"Your lipstick stains on the front lobe of my left side brains I knew I wouldn't forget you, and so I went and let you blow my mind" She pointed to her head.

She then turned and went back into her original position and Ryan replaced her.

"Your sweet moon beam, the smell of you in every single dream I dream
I knew when we collided, you're the one I have decided who's one of my kind"

We all slid from one side to the next while he sang. He danced back to his original position with Elizabeth replacing him.

"Hey soul sister, ain't that Mr. Mister on the radio," She pointed to one ear.
"stereo," She pointed to the other.
"the way you move ain't fair, you know!" She spun around while we sang behind
her.
"Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do..." She danced around.
"tonight" She pointed to the ground.
"Hey!" We all sang.
"Hey." She sang back
"Hey!" We sang again.

Becca walked to center stage.

"Just in time, I'm so glad you have a one-track mind like me" She snapped her fingers and swayed from side to side.

Jake walked to center stage and Becca moved back to her positon.

"You gave my life direction, a game show love connection we can't deny" He
held the last note on 'Deny.'

Rebecca swapped positions with Jake.
"I'm so obsessed, my heart is bound to beat right out my untrimmed chest
I believe in you, like a virgin, you're Madonna, and I'm always gonna wanna
blow your mind" She sang and we harmonized in the background.

"Hey soul sister, ain't that Mr. Mister on the radio" Nathan sang and pointed to
one ear.
"stereo," he pointed to the other.
"the way you move ain't fair, you know!" He put one foot in front of the other
and spun around.

"Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do...tonight" He sang and
moon walked back to his original position.

"The way you can cut a rug, watching you's the only drug I need" Julie danced
like they did in the fifties when she sang.

"So gangsta, I'm so thug, you're the only one I'm dreaming of" Callie walked to
Julie's side and acted like a gangster.

"You see, I can be myself now finally, in fact there's nothing I can't be" Keith
sang.

"I want the world to see you be with me" Callie, Julie, and Keith all sang in
perfect harmony.

Matt ran up to the center of the little area while Jake did a back flip across the
front of it.

"Hey soul sister, ain't that Mr. Mister on the radio, stereo," He sang solo.
"the way you move ain't fair, you know!" We all sang in unison.
"Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do tonight," Matt sang,
then walked back to his original spot.

"Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do" I skipped to the center
and held the last note.
"tonight" I sang, sweetly.
"Hey" I sang.
"Hey." The rest of the Chorus sang.
"Hey" I sang again.
"Hey" They mirrored.
"Tonight" I slid from one side to another.
"Hey!" They sang.
"Hey" I sang.
"Hey" We all sang.
"Tonight." I sang, then we all stopped and posed.

A wave of applause rushed over us.
We all grabbed hands and bowed.

Celebration isn't always partying.
It's also practicing.

You Can't Sue That

I looked all around my orange colored room and sighed, unsure.

Prudence, my sister, is in the hospital. Marisol told some of us to go home and get some rest.

Now, the cheery color of my room seemed to be laughing in my face.
Pru's in a coma, and I can't be there. Sure, I'm not really close to her, but she's still my sister.

Stupid Marisol *insert mean face here* >:|

There came a light knock on my door, I turned my head and said "Come In."

The door opened, and there, in a silver off-the shoulder shirt and black skinny jeans, stood Becca.

Now, I don't know if you all know this, but since Becca's birthday earlier this month, we have, in a sense, buried the hatchet.

So I smiled, and greeted "Hi Becca!"
She entered my room and slammed the door behind her.
"Julia Suzanne Albright..." She started, looking me evilly with her hazel eyes.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"Your my sister, so I HATE to see you get hurt..." She started.
"What the heck are you talking about, Rubin?" My wall of cruelty immediately shielding over my insecurities.
"George.Standford." She paused in between his first and last names.
My eyes grew wide and I began to stutter.
"W-w-w-w-w-what about him?" I asked in a small voice.
"He's WAY  out of your league. I mean, he looks like a freaking Beatle! And here's you, with your greasy hair and nasty fashion sense." She nodded to the light blue sweat shirt and sweat pants I was wearing.
"So? Who said I even liked him. He's my best friend." I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, and you would 'Wait a lonely lifetime' if he wants." She narrowed her eyes.

It dawned on me,
SHE.WATCHED.ME.SING.I.WILL.AND.TALK.TO.GEORGE.AND.TELL.JULIE.I.LIKED.HIM.

"WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU STALK ME?" I yelled.
"I DIDN'T STALK YOU." She yelled back.
"UH, YEAH YOU DID! YOU FOLLOWED ME AND WATCHED ME SING AND TALK TO GEORGE AND JULIE! THAT'S STALKING!" I yelled, then pushed her out of my room and locked the door.

I ran over to my bedside table and picked up my cell phone and dialed Julie's number.
"Julia! What's wrong?" Julie's chipper voice asked.
"That WITCH BECCA FOLLOWED ME TO THE FREAKING LIBRARY AND WATCHED ME SING AND TELL YOU THAT I LIKE GEORGE!" I yelled into the phone.
"OMG!" She channeled her inner Rebecca.
"WHAT DO I DO? WITH BECCA KNOWING SOMETHING, IT COULD BE COMMON KNOWLEDGE IN 20 MINUTES!" I exclaimed.
"IF SOMEONE ASKS YOU ABOUT IT, DENY IT!" Julie smiled.
"No." I calmed down.
"Then what?" She calmed down as well.
"We SUE!" I beamed.
"For what?" Julie asked.
"Her.Stalking.Me." I repeated.
"You can't sue her for that, because she's your sister." Julie informed me.
"DANGIT!" I yelled, frustrated.
"Well, I have to go Julia, good luck with that whole stalking thing." Julie said.
"Bye Julie." I sighed.
"Bye Georgie's Lover." Julie joked.
"I will reach in the phone and hit you." I narrowed my eyes.
"Well bye!" Julie smiled.
"Bye." I said, then hung up the phone.

WHAT DO I DO?

Library Lullaby

"Hi." A mysterious voice pulled me out of my day dream about bunnies.
"WHO GOES THERE?" I jumped up and yelled, looking around.

I was sitting in the library at AGPPA.
"Whoa. Note to self, when messing with Julia, she becomes a security machine. Good to know." George looked like he was writing a note to himself.
I rolled my eyes.
"Note to self, George is so mean." I playfully hit his arm, which he then fell down.
"YOU'VE INJURED ME!" He exclaimed.
"If you don't get up, I really will injure you." I said with a smile.
"You don't need to tell me twice." He said, getting up.

George and I have grown very close lately, he's like my brother.

Of course, I have a crush on him, but no one knows.

Except for......Well, you guys.

It was after school and I usually relax at the Library, which George usually interrupts me.

"Well, it's three o' clock. So my mom must be out front waiting for me. I'll talk to you tomorrow, Seashell eyes." George said, using my newest nickname, it's from the song 'Julia' by The Beatles.

"See ya later, Harrison." I joked, using HIS nickname, which comes from his crazy resemblance to George Harrison of The Beatles.

I ruffled his hair, then he grabbed his backpack and left the Library.

I couldn't stop beaming like an idiot.

"Julia and George sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" A blonde girl jumped out from under the table.
"JULIANNE SHAY ALBRIGHT! YOU LITTLE SNEAK!" I yelled, my face getting red.
"JULIA SUZANNE ALBRIGHT! YOU LITTLE LOVEBIRD!" She joked back, making a heart with her hands.
"You want me to break your hands?" I asked.
"Oh, Come ON J-bug. It's OBVIOUS you like him." Julie teased.
"You're physco." I rolled my eyes, and walked to the Historical Fiction section of the Library.
"You made a WHOLE POST OF HIM on your blog!" Julie exclaimed.

I stopped dead in my tracks.

"I told Rebecca to read that one." I sneered.
"Well too bad! I read it and YOU'RE SO IN LOVE WITH HIM!" Julie squealed and hugged me.
"I'm not in love with him." I mocked her tone.
"Well, then you have a VERY intense crush on him." Julie nodded to her own comment.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes playfully.

Julie then launched into another verse of the Julia and George song.

Then, a God-sent came through the doors of the library.

"JULIE! WE HAVE TO GO! REBECCA CAN'T STOP NAGGING ME!" Elizabeth groaned, stomping over to us.
"Gee, Liz. Who went in YOUR oatmeal this morning?" I joked.
"Can it, Julia." She snapped, then began to pull Julie out of the library.

Elizabeth does not like when people nag her.

"BYE JULIA STANDFORD!" Julie called, then exited the Library with Elizabeth.

I looked around the Library,

it was like a ghost town.  There wasn't a soul in sight.
I remembered the song Melanie was listening to earlier.

What was it called.
OH YEAH!
I Will by The Beatles.
WHY DIDN'T I REMEMBER IT?

Well, I should say that this song is...
My.Life.In.Song.Form.

I checked every aisle in the Library, even the Librarian wasn't there!

I ran to the band room and picked up a guitar, and brought it back in the Library and began to sing.

"Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to, I will." I smiled at thoughts of George and I.

"For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same" I nodded while singing.

"Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart." I got up and started spinning around.

"And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air" I looked up.

"Sing it loud so I can hear you" I shook from one side to another.

"Make it easy to be near you" I repeated that.
"For the things you do endear you to me
Oh, you know, I will
I wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllll!" I sang.

I then hummed the rest of the song while playing it.

"La da da da da da DA!" I finished and threw my hands in the air.

"Gosh, I'm becoming a Chrissa." I muttered,

then grabbed my stuff and left, completely unaware of the hazel eyes that were watching me the whole time.

Do You Want To Know A Secret

Math.
THE LAMEST CLASS I HAVE.

Oh, and guess what?
IT'S FIRST PERIOD.

KILL.ME.NOW.

I looked around, made sure no one was looking and pulled out my Neon Orange iPod and hit 'shuffle'

"In the tooooooooown where I was born, lived a mannnn who sailed to se-" Ringo Starr sang 'Yellow Submarine.'

I smiled, but shuffled the songs again.

"OOOOH DARLING!" Paul McCartney belted in my ears.

I jumped about 50 feet in the air.

When I landed, I checked the volume. My iPod flashed

'Volume - 100%'

"Of Course" I muttered under my breath while turning down the volume and shuffling it once more.

"IT'S BEEN A HARD DAY'S NI-" John Lennon sang.

Dude, are ALL of the songs on my iPod by The Beatles?
I checked the iPod.

Oooh, I took CALLIE'S on accident.
For all I know, she's probably dancing around to Queen's "You're My Best Friend."

I smiled though, Callie has some pretty awesome Musical Taste.

One more shuffle.

"You'll Never Know How Much I Really Love You.
You'll Never Know How Much I Really Care" George Harrison sang.

A weird smile crept onto my face and my stomach had a weird feeling flutter through it, like...

FORESHADOWING.

"Listen, Do You Want To Know A Secret?
Do You Promise Not To Tell?
Mhmmmmmmm, Closer.
Let Me Whisper In Your Ear.
Say The Words You Long To Hear.
I'm In Love With Yo-" Georgie was cut off by some annoying voice.

"ALBRIGHT! Do you have your iPod out AGAIN?" Mrs. Gregory spat.
The smile flew off my face and I slyly put the iPod into my Jeans pocket.
"No, but I see your moustache has grown back." I muttered.

All the kids laughed.

"WHAT WAS THAT?" Her already red face turned redder.
"Oh, did you not hear me? Oh, well.." I said, standing on my desk.
"YOUR MOUSTACHE HAS GROWN BACK!" I yelled.

Anything.To.Get.Out.Of.Math.

"JULIA ALBRIGHT! TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE! NOW!" Mrs. Gregory yelled.
"Do you mind saying that louder, I don't think they heard you in CHINA!" I yelled back, then grabbed my stuff and left.

The hallways in the morning are always so quiet. I'm the one who usually is caught doing something really weird in them.

I headed into the office and sat down in the 'bad kids seat.'

The Secretary, Mrs. Wilson, was giving me the death stare, like always.
"You're one of those Retro-ly Random kids, aren't you." She asked, her voice shaking.

Was she afraid of me?

"Yes, yes I am. Now if you don't mind, I'm pretty sure that your internet boyfriend has written you a message." My eyes narrowed.

I'm always like this when I meet someone new, unless they seem nice.

"You're the one with all the sarcastic comments" She muttered.
I nodded, then slouched back in my seat.

The door opened and a thin, long brown-haired boy with a thin face walked in with his curly black-haired mother.

I did a double take, then opened my books and checked out my bookmark with The Beatles on them.

"Oh.My.God." I breathed, looking at the boy.

He looked almost EXACTLY like George Harrison in 1965.

"Alrighty George.." His mom started.

I could have passed out.

Ms. Wilson shot me a look that said 'Behave,' then made her way to the front counter.

"Hi! Welcome to AGPPA, are you here to enroll your son?" She asked in a fake sweet voice.
"We already did" George's mom smiled.
"Oh, well then what is your name?" Ms. Wilson asked George.
"George Standford." George smiled.

I sighed, dreamily. Then straightened up and sat up.

"Oh yes! The new student from New York! Welcome" Ms. Wilson smiled.
"Thank you" George smiled.
"Well, since your already registered, we're going to need you to go see the Principal, Mrs. Fredriches, to get your schedule." Ms. Wilson smiled.
"Oh okay" George sounded kind of unsure.
"Well, good luck on your first day at AGPPA" George's mom ruffled George's hair and left.
"Bye Mom" George waved.
"Bye!" George's mom, Peppy Pepperson, waved back.

"Come on back, George" Ms. Wilson smiled, and opened the gate to let George come into the back of the Main Office.
I prepped myself, then realized.

I'M.NOT.BECCA.

"Well, here we are! The Principal's Office! I'm sorry she's the first person you have to meet, but this is Julia Albright." Ms. Wilson poured venom into my name.
"Hi" I greeted coolly.
"Hey there" He replied.

I could have died.
STOP IT JULIA.

"Well, sit down George and when Mrs. Fredriches calls you in, she'll give you your schedule. And Julia........." Ms. Wilson trailed off, then turned and left to go back to the front of the office.

"BYE BESTIE! I'LL CALL YOU LATER!" Sarcasm was seeping through my voice.
I thought I heard "Die in a hole, Albright." But I don't know.

I turned to George and on the inside I was blushing and being all flirty, but on the outside, I was just being plain ol' Julia.
"Hey, George, right?" I asked.
He nodded.
"Cool name. I knew a George once, well not personally but......" I trailed off when I saw him staring at me with an amused face.
"You amuse me." He chuckled.

On the inside I was blushing, on the outside.

"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?" I by mistake yelled.

Just so you know, it's kind of hard for me to show affection.

"That I think you're funny?" He asked, looking a bit confused and a tiny bit scared.
"Oh, well thanks" I calmed down and smiled.
"George Standford" He smiled, putting out his hand.
"Michael Jackson." I exchanged, putting out mine.

"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Jackson" He laughed.
"The pleasure is all mine, HEE HEE" I did my Michael Jackson impersonation, I imagined Marisol slapping the back of my head.
He laughed.
"Hey, but I like MJ's music!" He exclaimed.
"So do I, but his voice was so adorable, and yet so easy to make fun of.": I giggled insanely.
"Well, Julia, do you have a last name?" He cut to the chase.

"Albright, Julia. Albright." I said like James Bond.
He laughed again.
"Stop it! You're killing me!" He said.
"That's what I do, I'm a killer" I smiled.

"ALBRIGHT! GET IN HERE!" Mrs. Fredriches yelled from her room as a very squeamish 6th grader exited her office looking white as a ghost.
George's intense chocolate brown eyes grew about ten times bigger than normal.
"Don't worry, she only does that when you make fun of one of the teachers" I smiled.
"What are you here for?" He asked, looking concerned.
"Making fun of my math teacher's girl-stache. Catch ya later" I explained, getting up and walking into the Death Chamber as everyone I know calls it.

"JULIA ALBRIGHT I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT......" Mrs. Fredriches' voice was blocked out by my thoughts of George. And also my two personalities fighting over whether I like him or not.

"BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!" Mrs. Fredriches continued to yell.

"Listen, Do You Want To Know A Secret." George Harrison's voice came back to my ears.
I kept on imaginably playing 'Do You Want To Know A Secret' for the rest of the day.

Do YOU guys want to know a secret?

Forget You

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!
I am currently with my family & Julie's family and the kids from my school's Chorus in Colorado at the Rockies Resort.

I'd like to say something, before I start talking about what happened today.

Since my last post, I got two sisters, Becca Rubin and Felicity Merriman.

Felicity's cool, but she spends most of her time with Prudence, Charity, and Julie's sister, Elizabeth.

But Becca.........

Don't.Get.Me.Started.

She is one of the most SELF CENTERED people I have ever met.

Like earlier today, I was walking down to Breakfast with Julie. We get to the line (it's like a buffet) and who cuts in front of us?

REBECCA FREAKING RAYNA FREAKING RUBIN.

"Uh, Becca, we were here first." Julie, being the nice one, sighed.
"Yeah, but I am more important, so too bad." Becca rolled her eyes.
"B-" Julie started.
"Listen here, Braceface, shut your mouth and I won't hit you. Kay?" Becca asked.

OHMYGOD.

"Listen here, Beeyotch" I started.
"Call my sister Braceface, when you CLEARLY need braces, again and you WON'T see January 3rd." I growled.
"Whatever, Pit stains." Becca fired back, looking at my arm pits.

I looked down at my arms, and there were pit stains!
I felt myself flush, then I remembered something.

-FLASHBACK-

I was walking out of the room.
"GET HER!" I heard someone scream and 20 water balloons came flying at me.
"AHHHHHHH!" I screamed.
"STOP STOP!" The same voice yelled, and they stopped.
"Oh sorry, Julia! We thought you were Julie. We're getting revenge on her" Keith Hudson apologized and motioned for Ryan Taeson to come out of the shadows.
"Two things.
One; WHY?
and two; DUDE YOU TOUCH MY SISTER AND I WILL KILL YOU" I yelled.

"Because, she did this." Ryan said, pointing at his face.

I tried not to laugh, she put lipstick on him!

Ryan and Julie always had a sort of connection, which is why (don't tell her) but I always thought they'd make a really cute couple.
But Ryan and Julie both have a boyfriend/girlfriend, so that might never happen.

I chuckled.
"She's learning." I smiled.

-END OF FLASHBACK-
"It's just water from a water balloon attack" I explained.
"Yeah right, Albright." Becca rolled her eyes and walked back to her seat by Rebecca and Molly.

"Julia! I am so sorry" Julie apologized.
"It's not you...... It's her" I clenched my teeth and got my Breakfast.

-5 hours later-

I looked up at the chandelier.
Everyone got invited to another fancy party.

I flatten out my teal colored party dress and sigh.
"Where is Julie?" I think, scanning the crowd.

"HELLO ROCKIES RESORT!" A worker greeting into the microphone, causing me to jump.
"Well, we have something a little different here, we have... a live band!" He smiled, pointing to the band.
I spotted my sister, Cindie, in it. I clapped and yelled "GO CYN!"

"And we will be taking requests." The worker finished.
"So if you have a request come up and the band might just play it!" The worker smiled.
"Oh, I almost forgot! We have a lovely singer here by the name of Matilda Bedson! Give her a round of applause!" The worker smiled.

I clapped weakly as I saw a petite brunette girl with a bob hairstyle walk on stage.

"Hello everyone!" She greeted.

Then she cued the band to start playing Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream."

I went back on my expedition to find my sister, when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry." I sighed.
"Watch where your going." The other person warned.
I looked up and, to my unfortune, saw Becca Rubin.

"God" I muttered.
"Aren't you happy to see me?" She had a fake sweetness in her voice.
"Why are you being so nice?" I asked.
"Because Rebecca could be anywhere around here." She explained.
"So?" I asked, confused.
"Rebecca would KILL me if she knew how much I hated you." She muttered.
"Oh you hate me?" I asked.
"Yeah" Becca gave me the death stare.
"Well the feeling's mutual." I returned the glare.
"Whatever" She have me the hand and walked away.

"We're going to take a short break!" Matilda smiled into the microphone and walked off stage and went to the food table and picked up some popcorn.

I remembered something.
"OH MY GOD! PUT THAT DOWN!" I yelled, remembering the itching powder I put in it, in hopes that Becca LOVED popcorn.
"Why?" She asked, then ate it.
"Oh crap." I whispered.
"WATER WATER WATER!" She began to yell, and I gave her a bottle of water.
"WHY IS MY THROAT SO ITCHY?!" She yelled.
"BECAUSE THERE'S ITCHING POWDER IN THAT POPCORN!" I explained, throwing out the other popcorn.

Marisol must've heard me, because, next thing I knew, Marisol was giving me the ninth degree on how 'poisoning popcorn is bad' and all that rubbish.

"Marisol, don't waste your breath" I muttered.
"AND ANOTHER THING! WHERE DID YOU GET THIS ATTITUDE?" She asked-yelled.
"You have one too" I fired back.
"THAT'S IT, JULIA SUZANNE ALBRIGHT, WHEN WE GET HOME, YOU ARE GROUNDED! NO COMEDY-OFF'S AND NO TELEVISION!" She yelled, then looked pleased and went back to the party.

I felt like crying.
"Why does this always happen to me? I try to stick up for myself, and stuff like this happens! What a life" I groaned, then kicked a can.
Cindie then ran to me in a panic.
"JULIA! WE NEED YOU ON STAGE!" She exclaimed and, before I could answer, started pulling me to the stage.
"SING!" She yelled.
"If you haven't noticed..." I said, turning to her.
"I'M NOT MOLLY!" I exclaimed.
"WELL PLEASE SING JULIA! I KNOW HOW FUNNY YOU ARE, SO MAYBE YOU COULD MAKE THE SONGS FUNNY?" Her coffee colored eyes twinkled.
"Fine." I sighed, then walked up to the mic.

"Hey everyone, the name's Julia Albright, don't wear it out." I groaned.
All of my sisters & friends started cheering.
"Oh stop it" I playfully said.
"But, we are going to take requests." I finished then went over to take a paper out of the requests box.

I put my arm in there, mixed the papers around and pulled out a paper that said;

FORGET YOU BY CEE LO GREEN
requested by Julie & Julia Albright

"Of course" I giggled, then went to tell the band.

I then walked up to the mic and said.
"This next song was requested by the AMAZING Julie Albright and, surprisingly, myself. We requested this song because, even though it is kinda about love, it also kind of means that people can be mean and all." I nodded then cued the band to play the intro.

"WAIT STOP!" I put my hands in the air and the band stopped.
I waved my hand to tell Prudence, Charity, Elizabeth, Nathan, Jake, and Peter to come up.

"What?" They all asked.
"Sing the back-up to 'Forget You'!" I said.
"Fine" Prudence said then they all got into a little cluster.

"NOW let's sing!" I said into the mic and once again, cued the band to play.

Charity tossed me a tambourine and I caught it and began playing it.

"I see you driving 'round town" I sang and acted like the tambourine was a steering wheel.
"With the guy I love and I'm like,
Forget you!" I pointed to Becca, while the Chorus kids harmonized.

"I guess the change in my pocket wasn't enough" I acted like I had pockets.
"I'm like,
Forget you!
And forget him too!" I spun around on my heels while singing.

"I said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya
Ha, now ain't that some shhhh?" I put a finger over my mouth while singing 'shhh'
"ain't that some shhhh?" The chorus kids repeated.

"And although there's pain in my chest" I pounded my chest.
"I still wish you the best with a...
Forget you!" I sang and the Chorus kids vocalized once more.

"Yeah I'm sorry, I can't afford a Ferrari,
But that don't mean I can't get you there." I acted like I was driving a car again.

"I guess she's an xbox and I'm more Atari," I danced like a Robot.
"But the way you play your game ain't fair." I shook my head and sang.

"I pity the fool" I sang the word 'fool' higher than the other words.
"that falls in love with you" I made a heart out of my hands, then broke it.

"Oh she's a gold digger" The Chorus kids sang.
"Well" I shrugged.
"Just thought you should know it" They put their hands out like they were talking.
"Ooooooh" I sang.
"I've got some news for you
Yeah go run and tell your little girlfriend" I acted like I was talking to someone.

Then we went into the chorus again.

Peter and Charity went to the front of the stage, and I stepped aside.
"Now baby, baby, baby, why d'you wanna wanna hurt me so bad?" They sang.
"So bad, so bad, so bad" The rest of us sang.
"I tried to tell my mamma but she told me
this is one for your dad" They sang.
"Your dad, your dad, your dad" The rest of us repeated.
"Yes she did" Charity sang.
"Yes she did!" Peter repeated.

"Uh!" Everyone except me sang.
"Why?" I sang.
"Uh!" They sang again.
"WHY?" I raised my voice.
"Uh!" They repeated once again.
"Whyy baby?" I sang, dancing around.

"Oh!" They sang, throwing their hands up.
"I love you" I made a heart with my hands.
"I still dooo!" I sang my heart out.

"I see you driving downtown with the guy I love and I'm like forget you!" We all sang, coming into a cluster and started dancing.
"Forget you!" Prudence sang.
"I guess the change in my pocket
Wasn't enough I'm like,
Forget you!
And forget him too!" We all sang again.
"Oh Baby!" Jake sang.
"I said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya" We all slid from one side, to the next.
"Yeah you!" Elizabeth sang.
"Ha, now ain't that some shhhh?" I put a finger over my mouth again.
"ain't that some shhhh?" They mirrored my movements.
"O-o-oh!" Charity sang.
"And although there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best" We all sang.
"Wish you the best" Peter sang.
"With a....
Forget you!" We all sang.
"Oooooh!" Nathan sang.
"OOH OOH OOH OOOH!" We all sang then posed.

The crowd started cheering. We all bowed.

That will show Becca freaking Rubin.
